Oyster Point

Went driving around again today to find a new place to explore. We always see Oyster Point from the freeway, piers, docks, and marinas, boat masts bristling up. So we decided to dig around in there.

Biggest discovery is that there's a ferry landing there. You can take a ferry from oyster point to SF, Oakland, or Alameda. Who knew? Really the only reason I mention the ferry is that we went in the little terminal there. The terminal "shelter" I'll call it, has glass for walls and an opaque ceiling. The seagulls hang out on the roof. It's a crazy site from below when you realize those aren't ginkgo leaves blowing around on top of the building, but the seagull feet walking around. Really cool and gave me my favorite photo of the day. The rest was kind of a bust, meh sunset and the dark, smooth water of the bay.
